ACCEPTANCE

I started this piece with a textured white surface that felt calm, clean and unfinished.

It wasn’t until I added the black marks that it became interesting. The contrast gave it depth. The imperfections gave it character.

I’ve realised life works the same way. It’s not the smooth parts that shape us, it’s the mistakes and how we choose to live with them.

For me, acceptance isn’t about pretending things didn’t happen. It’s about allowing them to belong.
