About The Artist

Hello, welcome to my website and if you are reading this, I am sorry your day is going so slow that reading about me seems like a good use of your time.

The brief history of me: I was born in Coatbridge, and worked in entertainment most of my adult life. From a Butlins redcoat when I was a teenager, to a Thomas Cook hotel entertainer in Mallorca, Cyprus and Lanzarote, to then travelling the world as a stand-up comedian.

2020 arrived and like most people, I took time during lockdown to figure out what was important to me. For me it meant I wanted to not be on the road for 6 months of the year, I wanted to be close to my family and to have more stability in my life, so the joke book was put away and I picked up a paintbrush.

Since I started, I've not been able to stop creating. From finger painting on old IKEA frames I had lying around the flat, to pouring litres of paint on canvases over a metre in height, to smashing together my love for Scotland and Geek culture for my LOCH NERDS prints, and there is more to come that I haven't released yet.

What's the connection between comedy and what I'm doing now? It's being in the service of others. 100% I'm creating for me and my ego loves being told when someone likes what I've created. But I am also doing it so that I create things that go beyond compliments and inspire others to want to invest their money to take my creations home with them.

So if you see something you like, I'd love to hear what and why, and if you'd like to take it home with you then I hope I've made it as easy as possible through this website, if I haven't, let me know.
