’ve never been able to ignore the ongoing debates about what is considered “acceptable” when it comes to diverse identities. To me, that conversation has always felt misplaced.
Embracing LGBTQI+ rights is simply embracing humanity in all its variety. It’s about empathy. It’s about dignity. It’s about creating a society where everyone can live openly and authentically without fear.
At my core, I believe something very simple: when two people make a consensual connection, the world should be a safe place for that connection to be whatever it naturally becomes, without judgement, without labels dictating its worth.
If you remove the noise around gender and expectation, sexuality becomes what it has always been: two people connecting. It doesn’t need to be more complicated than that.
I hope I’ve expressed some of that spirit in Love is Love.
