Influence

A bunch of years ago, my sister told me she wanted to be a photographer. She bought a fancy camera, but it sat gathering dust for a long time. 

I gave her a gentle nudge by encouraging her and by booking an online course to help her improve her skills. When she eventually started watching it, it inspired her to invest in some 1:1 coaching, which led to her getting booked to do various photos shoots and to this day she had made 100’s of people happy with the photos she has taken. 

When I started painting that support I gave to her came back to me with words of encouragement and constructive feedback, so when I needed some fun photos of my paintings to show perspective for online viewers there was no one else I would have wanted doing them. 

The influence we have on others is never obvious at the time, but it is always there in everything we say and do.
